January Currently

How can it already be 2015??? Is it just me or was 2014 the FASTEST year ever? I have been a bad, bad blogger. Here's hoping I do better in 2015! I'm starting the year off right and linking up with Farley at Oh, Boy 4th Grade.

LISTENING: We;re watching the Rose Bowl Parade. It's a New Year's Day tradition in our house.

LOVING:We actually got SNOW last night. It was only a dusting, but I LOVE snow.
THINKING: There is just something magical about a new year. Last year was wonderful, but there is always room for improvement, right? Yes, I know change can start any day, any time, but there is something motivating about the New Year, New Start. 2014 was amazing but I KNOW 2015 can be evne better.
WANTING: I'm not really a Starbucks girl. I am fine with my simple coffee with a little milk...but sometimes a sweet, 5 million calorie beverage sounds YUMMY! Especially when there is snow on the ground. But at last, I am warm and cozy on the couch and have ZERO interest in going out in the COLD.
NEEDING: Seriously NOTHING. Life is good. I LOVE winter break. My house is clean. I feel relaxed. Today is all about relaxing in my pajamas. Maybe I'll watch some Friends on Netflix (I haven't checked to see if it is on there but I heard it was true). Maybe I'll read a book. I most likely will take a nap (hello, 6 hours of sleep).
YES, MAYBE, I WISH- I am not your typical OCD Kindergarten teacher. During the school week, I get tired- especially during soccer season. I let things go. Then Saturday comes and I spend a FREAKISH amount of timing cleaning. I really want to FORCE myself to pick up the clutter for 15 minutes EVERY NIGHT. And do a load of laundry. Is it just me, or is the laundry NEVER done. Like many people, I have gained a few pounds. I really want to get back into exercising on a daily basis. I also need to clean up my eating- especially after the holidays!!!

I hope you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Be sure you Like me on Facebook AND click GET NOTIFICATIONS on the Like button. I plan on having more giveaways and flash freebies on my Facebook page this week.

  1. I agree with you - 2014 was a blur! I don't think a year has passed by as fast as this one has! I also need to work on the cleaning bits at a time each day instead of marathon cleaning sessions on the weekend! Enjoy the rest of your break and Happy New Year!

  2. I was thinking about reorganizing my house this year. It really needs it.

  3. I so agree with you about cleaning! My husband and I are empty nesters this year and I will say it has been a little better- but my youngest has been home for the past three weeks on break and the mess has returned (at least in her room and bathroom)!
I love your blog- Megan did mine as well- she is so good! Thanks for stopping by my blog- I appreciate it!
    Happy New Year!
