Scarecrow Activities

Halloween is over...did you survive??? It's a little too early to think about Turkey's...so I am teaching Scarecrows!!!

These Scarecrow Math Centers, Exit Tickets, and Printables will keep your class engaged in their learning. I bought these adorable pumpkins at Hobby Lobby. They makes for a fun math manipulative.

Each center comes with 4 different Exit Tickets. This is a quick and easy way to assess students. I use them once a week, but you could even do it daily. It takes about 2 minutes at the end of the center.

I love these centers because they come in color and in black in white to meet your printing needs.

There are days I don't have time to prep enough centers. My Scarecrow Math Centers, Exit Tickets, and Printables includes 4 different printables that can be used as a quick center, homework, sub tub, morning work, and more.

Fall Harvest Word Work will last you all season long. Students will match letters, beginning sounds, CVC word work, and sight words. There are scarecrows, leaves, pumpkins and more. Perfect for the Fall.

This is my FAVORITE activity. Kids match the pumpkin letters to the scarecrow with the correct beginning sound pumpkin. It is absolutely adorable!!! You can buy it here.

Do you like to do crafts with your class, but feel pressure to ensure they are academic based? You are going to love my Fall Math Crafts. There are three different crafts, including this adorable scarecrow craft. They are differentiated to work on Sums of 10, Sums of 5, or any quantity you want to teach. Plus, each craft has a matching center. This is sure to become a class favorite. You can buy the Seasonal Bundle HERE.

Finally, I have this FREE Roll a Scarecrow for you. It comes in both color and black and white. Students roll the dice, and build a piece of the scarecrow. With the black and white version, you can have students color it. Teacher Tip- having students color it may make this independent activity take LONGER. This can be very helpful if you need to work on report cards.

I hope you all have enjoyed these scarecrow activities. Tomorrow, come back for some Pumpkin Activities (including another FREE activity).
